Who are the 'Friends' of Meysey Hampton School?

The 'Friends' of Meysey Hampton Church of England School is a registered charitable organization whose purpose is to raise money for Meysey Hampton School.

Membership of the 'Friends' consists of parents, grandparents, members of staff and members of the local community.

We are a very friendly group who meet twice a term to discuss upcoming events in the school and look at future fund raising events.  Our meetings alternate between morning meetings at 8:45am (after drop off) and 7:30pm.  By alternating the timing we hope that we can maximize involvement, as we understand that many parents work and are unable to make meetings during school time.

The 'Friends' committee is made up of 6 elected members who are elected at our AGM in the Autumn term together with our committee members.  We also have a large group of parents who are "happy to help" and who kindly volunteer their services in activities and fundraising events but are unable to commit their time on a regular basis.  All help is very valuable and gratefully received.
